Service First
Education and Training (SFET) Self
Instructional Courses for Early Childhood Educators and Child
Care
Providers.
SFET Self Instructional Courses can be used to help child care
providers successfully complete components of state required
licensing, renewal, certifications, credentialing, coursework
and portfolios.
SFETSelf Instructional
Courses can also be used for annual clock
hours and in-service training requirements for many
states.
SFET Self
Instructional Courses are also designed to help early
childhood educators obtain their Child Development Associate
(CDA) or Child Care Professional (CCP) credentials.
Service First

The Course Completion Process
You must first purchase
the desired course and read the instructional
manual(s) provided by
Service First
Education and Training (SFET).
When all instructional materials
are completed, answer the questions
on the examination
sheet(s) and submit them for grading along with a
request for certificate(s).
You must score of a least 80 % in order to receive
credit for each
course. If you score less than 80%, you will be given a second
opportunity to re-read the materials and re-answer the questions.
If
materials are read carefully, you should not have any
problems scoring at
least 80%.
Time
Frame for Completing Course Requirements
These Self instructional Courses are
designed for independent study.
You may spend as much time on
a course as deemed necessary.
Requirements
You must purchase the required
materials and certificates in advance.
We
recommend that you have Internet Access, even though it is not
a requirement.
Technical Support
SFET Self Instructional Course Support Staff will be
available to the
learner by e-mail - sftng@aol.com. The student will be able to
access information 24/7.
Course Support Staff will respond via e-mail within three
business days upon receipt of information requests.
Ongoing Assessment and Feedback
The student will have access to
the SFET website
and e-mail.
